Mostly because opt-outs are for whole body imaging, not metal detectors; I've never opted out, but it's my understanding that even if you opt out of the WBI, you're still required to go through the WTMD, and if they're using WTMD as primary and there are no WBIs, there is no opting out allowed. Am I wrong?
