5x TY is available (as of last week anyway) at branches. And yes, for 12 months, but in that 12 months it can outperform several years of BCP!
Anyway, I was responding to:
AMEX BCP.....6x points for groceries, capped at $6k = $360. You bet I pay $75 a year for that card.
My point was that BCP really isn't $75 for $360, as the BCE is a natural alternative, which gives $180 for 0$ fee, so BCP is more $180 for $75, which while free money, might not be the best return. So not quite the no-brainer implied in the quote.
