I agree. I booked a stay first week of August on the weekends for two nights an average of 189 + tax. Fantastic rate and by far much better than any other Marriott property in Manhattan.
Both great rates for Manhattan full service hotels in general, but just FANTABULOUS for a classic like the Carlton!

That is the first I have heard of a hotel doing that, a very nice touch indeed. Has anyone else experienced the benefit of converting an unused $10 F&B credit to points upon checkout?
