The one more weird part of the story is that three FAs witnessed the whole ordeal and one of them recorded it, apparently on her mobile phone. And seems they did not intervene...
If someone steals you car, and takes it around the block, and returns it, isn't it still theft?
I'm sure the FA's wanted to get proof of what the guy was doing. Probably nothing too valuable in the bag.
