Greetings! I am writing to ask if any of you have had any experiences at any of these three hotels in Bangkok (Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit, Sukhothai Bangkok, & Four Seasons) and had any recommendations for which hotel to select for a 4-night stay. I will be traveling to Bangkok for work purposes at the end of August 2013 and would like to stay at a hotel that is convenient to taking the Skytrain and for very good service. Any recommendations or thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. Of course, if you have any recommendations that I have not listed, I am also very keen to hear your feedback.
Thank you in advance for your time and thoughts on this topic.
The Sukhothai is not very convenient to the Skytrain so I would eliminate that right away.
I have only been to the Sofitel for drinks and it was nice however it is still quite new and as such the service is not perfectly polished.
The Four Seasons has excellent service and is located very close the Skytrain. I would stay there. In August there should still be some "Stay 3, Pay 2 rates" available which is a good way to get a discount- in addition the hotel participates in both Virtuoso and FHR programs if that is important to you. Feel free to ask any more questions.
