OK, today is a better day. I called the Diamond desk earlier and they were able to get a night at 80,000 points (which online is showing 120,552 points). So, now I only have to pay for one night and I have two award nights. I'm thinking of doing an advance purchase to save $98. Then, the Diamond desk said to see what offers I get emailed to me. The email I have currently, based on a 50,000 award and a paid night, offered me the lagoon bungalow upgrade at 10,000 XPF/night. No comped upgrade to the lagoon bungalow. The overwater bungalows are being offered at 17,000 XPF/night and the panoramics are 19,000/night. Lots more feasible total out-of-pocket expense.
