I believe that Sofitel Angkor staffs would do their best for their Platinum members. Btw, you could read all the previous posts here regarding our experiences in Sofitel Angkor.

Since you guys are so great fans of this hotel, I decided to try it in my visit to Siam Reap in september. A friend of mine that has already been to the place warned me that the hotel is a bit far away from, let's say, the main action of the city, like restaurants, bars etc. How the ground transportation works? Is it easy to visit the city and return during the night?
The hotel also send me an email offering a transport from/to the airport for US$70 (both ways). I would be okay with this value anywhere in the world, but my feeling is that Cambodia is very cheap place. Is this overpriced?
