KL 747 (mixed--not sure what that means)

Are any of these "must avoid"--E.g.--the flight attendants will poke you with sharp sticks the entire journey, the seats only recline forward (to save space), etc?

Thanks in advance for your insights...
I would avoid the DL 333 like the plague. Angled lie-flat--hideous beyond belief. So bad, in fact, that my wife--who works some in Amsterdam-- has resorted to flying into LHR on a totally lie-flat 764, and then connecting on KLM to AMS. I would do the same. No sense paying for a biz elite seat, if you are going to hate it. Not quite as bad on the return--assuming you aren't going to try and sleep.

Once the 333s/332s are re-configured with lie-flat--by summer 2014--those look like they will be very nice.
