There are definitely better places than UK to start for a better fare for business/1st travel , but not going to save mch on fare going ex PAris

Just looking at lowest fares to DEL, CDG seems about gBP30 more expensive on the base fare than LHR

As highlighted above, going ex AMS for a 1st class ticket can have huge savings just on fare and would definitely recommend that. Economy upgrading to business, then not worth it
