A related question but slightly different so I'd like to see if anyone has any advice:

Flying on Cathay HKG-MNL arriving at 9:50 and have a Cebu Pacific flight at 11:30 to Boracay. Most of the previous advice was domestic-international, do I have a chance of getting through customs in time and making it to terminal 1?

Also, will I be able to interline bags, and should I?

Anyone know Cebu Pacific's policies inside and out? Should I buy a seat on the 2pm flight as backup, or would I be able to just stand by if I miss my flight? Are these flights frequently sold out in July?
