Oh, the new intl C seats have their shortcomings, including virtually no storage space. And they do pale beside some competitors' new C products, including the US seats and the similar ones that AA is starting to introduce (not to mention C on some foreign airlines). But still, the UA new C lie-flat feature is great, the IFE pretty good, and they're a great improvement over the barcaloungers.

I don't know what kind of plane IAD-FRA is. But try to avoid the middle seats in the middle section if it's a 777 and shoot for the upstairs if it's a 747.
