So it seems my return trip will cost more as compared to outbound trip. Not sure why ??

I am booking coach award ticket from LAS (Las Vegas) - JFK (Stop over) on AA and then to AUH (Abu Dabhi) to New Delhi in Etihad and finally Delhi to
Jaipur in India on Jet airways. This one way trip is costing me 45K AA miles.

However, for return trip using exactly same airports/airlines i.e. Jaipur to Delhi to Abu Dabhi to JFK to Las Vegas, airlines is asking for 55K which is 10K more
than my outbound flight.

Does anyone has any insight about why it can be ? Airlines is just telling me that this is what computer spits out.. and since it involves multiple airlines etc,
there is no easy way to tell why its happening.
