Hello - I'm usually a UA guy, but I helped my sister book two RT tickets to Christchurch on QF, with layovers in Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney. I noticed on AA's website that it [I]appears[I] as if a 30-day pass gets her an up to two guests into QF lounges as well.

My question is: is this going to work in reality? That is to say that with UA, there are a lot of lounge policies that are stated online but not actually followed by the lounges.

As she and her fiance have several long layovers, the $99 would be a no-brainer, but only if it really grants them access to the QF lounges in these airports.

Any insight would be great.
