Having difficulty seeing how my significant other remains GM with the continual changes and complications. She is gold on BA and UA. She travels 160-180 nights a year, 95+ percent international (NYC based), flies J or F and usually books last-minute. In other words, big revenue. And an MBA completely befuddled by these moves.

Rollover MQMs kept her with DL as it made gold a snap, but a majority of her segments were on partners. She does not have time or energy to check a chart to see what she'll earn. Her response to this is to dump DL. If she replaces all SkyTeam flights with BA she can easily pick up two vouchers each year for upgrades for two. Shifting that travel to UA puts her in 1K territory, which brings its own set of goodies.

She cannot imagine the response if a DL rep were to call (not that it's expected) to ask why she dropped completely off DL's radar, only to have her say nearly every incentive to remain has been removed and question why she should stay. BA especially dangles incentives to increase her loyalty. How can DL think it beneficial to treat such a customer in the manner it does?
