The People Mover bus system can get you around fairly well and there is a stop at Lake Otis & 80th, a half mile from my house. Both Carr's Quality Centers & Fred Meyer are less than a mile from here and the busses go by both, but I don't know their schedule.
Perfect, looks like the bus from downtown would get me there by 7:30.

All I'll be renting is a bicycle downtown.
Also, as a non-car-owner who always has to add SLI coverage to the rental, the math is less favorable for me. Still appreciate the suggestion, though. ^
I'm sure any or all of us flying out can share a cab back to ANC if needed.
