Update: T-47 hours
-Name on reservation not matching that on UA profile - was corrected yesterday. Waited for next sweep this morning, no upgrade.
But it doesn't appear anyone's upgrades processed on either segment, both showing booked 13/24 and 14/24 which is similar to yesterday.
-Called today, UA agent says, "the honest answer is...we don't know why these problems happen." .Com agent says, "Upgrade should have happened, I will put in a priority message" to the technology team to review this.
I don't believe the phone agents have any way of knowing whether a CPU
should have happened or not. I've been told that many times in the past, and many others here have posted the same.
This honestly sounds more like a misinformed agent who
thinks they see that you should have been upgraded (maybe because you told them there was R inventory and they assumed you were right that this meant something) and assumed something was wrong that caused the upgrade not to happen.
Well-meaning perhaps, but it really doesn't sound like we're learning anything new here.
