Without wanting to sound pedantic but there is no physical difference in the fuselage of the -300 and -300ER. The latter is a improved and re-engined (and far more successful) derivative of the original -300 variant.
From a safety point of view, their are the same 5 exits on each side at the same locations on the both -300 and 300ER.
