I will give the City of Kissimmee credit for trying to make downtown Kissimmee a nice place to visit. They have undertaken some rather progressive (for Florida) urban planning initiatives. Grabbing lunch and taking a walk in downtown Kissimmee (and along the lakefront) is a pleasant break from Disney.
