Same thing happened to me with Garuda. Call to Indonesia made, with reservation agent saying "No Problem." She made note in reservation profile. Not completely trusting the agent, I called the American sales office, and they confirmed the lack of a problem and the agent's note in file.
Hi, ive read that many agree the way to go is by asking for a "note" to be added to the reservation. I think i will try too and see how it goes, will inform the forum aswel, maybe it will be a nice info for anybody else having this problem in the future
