This type of search would increase the value of the tool as the 'middle' in our case would include best fares in business/ first which may not be seen otherwise unless we search a specific airlines.

No they don't, not for a tariff search. They do for a low-fare pricing search, but that is a different type of search. We have already discussed this with our GDS providers and there isn't a way to ask for a specific cabin with a tariff search, just a fare class or fare basis code.
