Now after a 12 year absence Marriott Rewards is something I thought I'd never see again in this lifetime. I was previously inseparable from Hilton.

Marriott has partnered with some great new premium hotels/properties and I will use them where it makes sense
Hilton killed the golden goose slowly but surely it started with Diamond Force/Special Arrangement elimination continued with extortion rates of premium room redemption scheme and finally with the most massive devaluation ever on 4 and 5 star properties. Good riddance
Now to burn off my last half million.How nice 5 nights in New York and it can be an empty account
