I don't stay at $80/night hotels to maintain Diamond. My average spend is probably closer to $275/night.

I also never said I was abandoning Hilton 100%. They still have good properties worth staying at. I've just given about 80% of my annual nights to their competitors due to my above mentioned reasons.
