I would really, really like to know how they determined "safe distance" from a bag they thought contained a "bomb". E.g a carry-on full of C4* - what is the safe distance for that? I, for one, wouldn't want to hang around it within viewing distance.
I especially like the part not being let
away from the supposed bomb. Just making life safer for everyone involved.
