SkyWest is self-purchasing 40 aircraft, plus up to 60 more for use with their other 4 partner carriers, plus options of of up 100 more. Coupled with the MRJ order, that will be up to 400 additional/replacement aircraft for SkyWest by 2018.

These 40 SkyWest RJs are in addition to the ones already announced by UA, so at least 70 E175s will be joining the United Express fleet in 2014 and 2015.
