I ended up ordering a new router, but still tried a few of the more recent suggestions. Releasing and renewing the IP address did not work. I did power cycle both the modem and router, still did not work. I called Comcast the other night to help troubleshoot and they were unable to help and also suggested I might need a new router. I'm officially out of ideas and am looking forward to my router arriving later today - nice when the distribution center happens to be 50 miles from your house!
