As you or someone stated earlier they are trained in body language. YOUR feeling that she had a chip on her shoulder, showed to her. BUT, she may not have known the why to your attitude--so she questioned and questioned to determine it. As a retired educator, NOT trained in body language, it only takes experience to spot the student who doesn't like me. They are usually very verbal in their non-verbal expressions and actions. Sorry to say but you probably brought the more thorough check upon yourself.
Without going into more detail as to what happened, the feeling of 'chip on the shoulder' came about
during the questioning, as a result of the specific questions asked/way they were asked.
As well, this was reinforced by an experience at the gate with the same agent.
