I went to several stores (Lotte, HiMart, Samsung, LG, and another one in Lotte World - the concierge at my hotel must have thought I'm crazy...). All conversation ended with "just give me any, any model. I take any model as long as I can carry it out right now". Yet there was no chance to buy one on the spot ("goods are in our warehouse"), but delivery "tomorrow".
So I don't think it was lost in translation
Next attempt tomorrow, three nights in Seoul - just to be on the safe side...
