48 E- is pretty bad, nearly 2/3rds of the plane.
They took the E170 config and used all the additional space for F, making no improvement on the worst E-/E+ ratio in the fleet.

I'll take that trade-off. 12F on a plane that size looks like a slam dunk upgrade, even if purchasing only 2-3 days out, especially because I wouldn't expect to see them running hub-hub often. Pretty slick plane in economy too though with an airbus's seat width but no middles. Anything that hastens the departure of the CRJ is a big ^
