It's all about FC capacity and TODs. I purposely choose all 757s and 738-9 for the likelyhood of more chance. The number is 321s going from LAX-EWR is stupid and I never select those birds with only 8 seats.
With UA selling 757s and replace them with 737-xx chances for upgrades will be lower, I am afraid.
