Did the fight attendant specifically say it was for training? There can be weight and balance issues with the Saab so they often move passengers around.
If you are moved because of a W&B issue, you can usually go back to your original seat after takeoff (officially after the seat belt sign is off, but the several times it's happened to me, the FA let me back up at 10k feet).
