Although overall, less than satisfied with today's flights. TSA Precheck wasn't on my boarding pass, despite verifying with CSR that it would be, delayed an hour at EWR because of the sequester (not United's fault), delayed 45 mins at FLL because of IRROPS. If the weather sucks at EYW when I land then the day will be complete.
1. Whether or not TSA precheck works doesn't have anything to do with what a CSR can do. You have to register yourself with your UA MP (or other applicable FF) number and even then it is not guaranteed. Go look at the T&C on UA.com and TSA precheck website for more info.
2. Get yourself a mojito, chill the heck out, and enjoy the weekend in EYW...rain or shine you have it better than alot of us this weekend.
