She was most definitely training and there is only one FA seat in the front. The other FA never got out of her seat so I'm not sure why they had to both be up front but oh well.

No I'm not complaining, just asking if that's acceptable or common practice. If it were a long or expensive flight I would have been angry.
Although overall, less than satisfied with today's flights. TSA Precheck wasn't on my boarding pass, despite verifying with CSR that it would be, delayed an hour at EWR because of the sequester (not United's fault), delayed 45 mins at FLL because of IRROPS. If the weather sucks at EYW when I land then the day will be complete.
