I know of where it took 2 weeks AFTER the statement where the charge appeared. I would wait few more weeks and put another charge on it, since you actually have a 1 year window after opening the card and still get the $150 for an AA purchase.
The AA charge was actually pretty close to the statement closing date, so this may be what happened. The good news is I have another AA trip coming up soon, so I could buy another beverage or just order some gift cards. Thanks.
