*G don't get Y seat assignment until the (online) checkin opens, it seems that LH tries to block the seat besides *G. *Gs can access the quiet zone (the first few rows in Y and exit rows) during OLCI.

Yes, exit rows have more legspace, but limited overhead bin space, so your rollerboard may attract undue attention @:-)
