My one year is about to be up, and I'm in the process fo finding out from Chase what date the fee will post again, so I can cancel accordingly.

I went through the same thing with the Presidential Plus Card, I remember when I dealt with that last year, I had something like 30 days after the fee posts to cancel and get the fee reversed.

Anyone know if that's still the case for the Mileage Plus Club?

Also, after canceling the card, how quickly do they cancel the United Club membership? I'm asking because my card renews sometime in May, but I'm going to China late-May and would love to still have lounge access, especially abroad.
