I hate them.
I ALWAYS book the row right behind the bulkhead and for some strange reason I figured that since everyone talks about how great they are that I would try one as it has been a few years since I have sat in one.
So, as I am sitting here in 10A on a 737 JFK-PHX I am pretty much not understanding why people always talk about how awesome they are.
So....extra legroom? Not a chance. I am 5'11" but have fairly long legs and I have a lot less room in this silly row with them all at a 90-degree angle with no room to move.
I also hate the tray in the armrest. I like that little space underneath; furthermore, if you get lucky with no middle passenger you can raise a regular armrest and have some extra room. I'm only 170lbs and I don't even come close to filling the entire 17.2" seat width but still!!! LoL
Oh yeah...and my laptop bag thingy...??? That has to go above for takeoff....so I was sitting here twiddling my thumbs waiting to get to cruising altitude so I can get my laptop out. We were like number 12 for take-off sooo....yeah.....lol
I don't really complain much about anything with flying. I love it so much. I actually am my final leg on a same-day-turn MR to PHX-JFK-SJU-JFK-PHX and even got upgraded on 2 of the 4 flights as a lowwwwwwly Gold...
I just now found remembered why it is that I always hated the bulkhead row so much!
Am I the ONLY person on this forum who PREFERS the other EC row except the silly bulkhead row?
