+1 I fly mostly SFO-IAH, SFO-DEN, SFO-IAD, and often find GS boarding into economy before us lowly 1Ks YMMV

Nice to see that my experience is not an aberration, as shown by DidItClear. For some reason it always seems easier to clear when returning into SFO than departing. Puzzling...
