I would add in a communication to Marriott that the property would not take action to "make good" on the situation without GM approval. (I do assume they fixed the immediate problem to your satisfaction.
An office in my company just moved. Direct across the street is a Towne Place. VERY convenient. My first stay, I had pet odors in my room. They fixed that for me. I hope animal problems are not a theme!
