Coverage for routes that where supposed to get 787s. Before the grounding UA had 6, not sure how many more should have been delivered since then, but should have been a few. None of those are flying now, so something has to fly those routes.

The flights were always pretty full, so I can not see it being under utilization.
Using a 767 is not profitable on that route. While CPUs may be great for us, UA doesn't make any money on them so they are better off using these planes in markets with a demand for BF fares. It's more profitable to operate 11 or 12 757s, 737, and A320s with fewer BF seats.
