Made multiple attempts to buy last night, then again this morning. Each time the site would price SJC-ATL-IAH-ATL-SJC as $158.10, but clicking "Purchase" would ONLY yield the following:

"The fare quoted earlier of $158.10 (USD) has changed. The new fare for this itinerary is $400.10 (USD). To continue your purchase click Continue."

In retrospect, I did NOT try multi-city booking, only RT. Maybe that could've worked.

And by now, delta.com still quotes $158.10 on multiple routings, incl via ATL -- while ITA now can no longer find that fare.

Fare dead? Certainly looks so to me.
