- Some post-Sandy impact linger. The Starbucks in the lobby is still not open, nor is the Bill's Burger (new restaurant). ETA for both is "this spring."
- Phone service has been restored
- The lounge is open; Sunday hours are 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- No weekend breakfast coupons for Gold/Platinums
- The Bistro on the second floor is open for breakfast M-F 6:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. and weekends 7 a.m. - 11 a.m.
- Room service is aranged through a "local restaurant" for breakfast and dinner only.
I will confirm details of the above after my stay.
The above is confirmed, with a small correction that the lounge opens at 5 p.m. on Sundays.
Upon checkin, I was informed I was upgraded to a corner king junior suite on the 17th floor, Northwest Corner (facing the World Financial Center). Room is very large for NYC standards and has a sofa with a hideaway bed. PM lounge offerings included tossed salad, shrimp cocktail, bread and cheese, brie and grapes, macaroni and cheese (with bacon to sprinkle) and mini pigs in blankets.
Very impressed by how friendly the lounge staff have been, as well as the quality of offerings.
