That is what happened in my case too
I had a similar experience on an upgrade from PVG-AMS. Upgraded from cheap economy seat to business for 279euro and didnt get the miles after several attempts at conatcting FB. Should I try again? It was in Septmeber last year.
I no longer have boarding card but sure I've still got an email trail of the episode...
