I got the "two stays = 1 free Cat 4 certificate". My question is what defines a "stay"? The T&C seem to suggest that a "stay" is "consecutive nights" meaning at least 2 nights at the same property. Is this in fact true?
In the past a single night also qualified as a "stay". Did this change for this promotion?
Any definitive clarification is appreciated.
In most cases, one night does still qualify as a stay.
So, if you spend Monday night at hotel one, then check out on Tuesday morning (one night, one stay).
On Tuesday, you check into hotel two (in the same or a different city as hotel one), and then check out Wednesday morning (one night, one stay).
On Wednesday, you check into hotel one (again) or hotel three, and then check on Thursday morning and fly home (one night, one stay).
You would then have three nights credit, but ALSO, THREE STAYS CREDIT. If you would have stayed in hotel one for all three nights, you would still have three nights credit, but you would only have one stay credit. In order to receive credit for a different stay, you must check out, and also leave the hotel. Checking in, checking out, but staying in the same hotel and checking in again on consecutive days will only count for one stay.
Make sense?
