I honestly don't understand how some people have the nerve to expect others not to recline so that "they" can have more comfort. You're on an airplane, it will be uncomfortable anyway, so if the guy in front of you feels better reclining his seat deal with it. I'm 6'1 and have no problems with people reclining their seat (excepting during meals).
These are the points people seem to make when it comes to seat recline...
The guy in front of me has his seat in my lap or it's crushing my knees.
-Really? If you sitting upright this will never happen. I'm 6'1 and have never had my legs crushed. Sure, I might not be able to cross my legs if the person in front of me reclines, but I don't expect to be able to sit like some nabob with legs crossed if I'm in an el cheapo seat.
I can't use my computer.
-You're computer is too large. I travel with a 13 inch laptop and even in the crappiest seats I can still use it. I might not be able to angle the screen backwards or place it on the back of the tray table, but I've never had any issues with the computer coming into my stomach or lap because the person in front of me reclined. If you have a 17 inch laptop and expect to be comfortable using it, you are a fool.
