My statement is rather generic - when you have connecting flights, and first flight arrives late, bags may move not as fast as PAX.

Another important point - while officially airline may tell you that 50 min connection time is OK, inofficially you can get different "more practical" info.

ANA connecting with UA, an NRT with 1:25 connecting time - two different airlines are involved - in case of any delays could be a problem.

I also commented that in this specific case it will be probably OK.
