They do have a cargo 747. But, wasn't referring to an EK 747, but rather how the upper-deck bins are done on the 747s I have been on. I just flew a Thai A380 in J and they have identical bins to EK in J, you lean on them and they pop open, which is very annoying. I then connected to UA on a 747 in J, and their bins have a button to open, so you can rest your arms on them no problem.
I don't know if the bin design is by EK or by Airbus, the Thai flight I was just on early today had identical seating arrangements to the EK A380, and identical bins.
