I will be staying at Marriott for a couple of years until I earn lifetime points (already have the nights).

Since my average stay is so inexpensive, I see way too many CY, FI and SHS to stay within my new improved travel budget. The times when I can pick up a Renaissance or a full service are few, but they seem special compared to the low end hotels. At the under $90 price range, I will keep staying at any Marriott property - usually their low end beats HIE or other low cost locations.

I just voted on the FT Awards and Marriott didn't get a single vote ... very small protest but about all I can do at this point.
