I just can't see how people think that CLT is destined for a major reduction.

#1 It is one of two hubs left in the South of any of the major airlines
#2 It has some of the lowest operating costs of any airport in America
#3 MIA's geographic location makes it totally unsuitable as a replacement hub

Will it lose some flights - most likely. Mostly Caribbean and probably flights to European * Hubs. Will it face the same future as MEM, CVG, or BNA? I just don't see that happening.
