cancel flight?
hi - brand new to this forum, so not sure if this is the right location to post this...
i booked a flight earlier this week using my thankyou points plus some cash. turns out i need to reschedule the flight.
upon calling citi travel, they told me in order to get the points back i will need to pay a $185 fee. the value of the points i am trying to recoup is around $400-$450 (~34,000 miles i think).
does anyone know a way to get around this, or somehow minimize the fee?
