This morning I checked cx.com for CX101 25 Mar for X redemption. There seems to be availability for as many as 6. BAEC says the same.

But when I actually tried to book it I get the following error msg:

"Please review the following items:
No seat is available for one or more flights you have selected, and we are unable to process a waitlist booking at this moment. Please start again to request for a waitlist booking, or select different flights."

What the? Phantom availability?
I found CX's website completely not reliable on booking awards and even finding award seats (can be either way). Now I just look at BA.com and, if I see seats, book via phone.
